It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to the doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.
It may cause side effects like headache, dizziness, vertigo, and sleepiness. These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days. You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function and the levels of salts such as potassium in your blood while taking this medicine. If dizziness happens, avoid driving or attention seeking activity while taking this medicine.
